What is LibSearch?

LibSearch is our one-stop search tool to explore the majority of the library’s physical and electronic collections. This tool is a perfect starting point for general interdisciplinary research.

Type your keyword or topic into our LibSearch box and the most relevant results will appear first for your research. Explore a variety of content from journals to e-books as well as videos and LibGuides. With easy filtering options, you can narrow your results to the type of content, publication, date (and more) to find the information resources you need.

Find LibSearch on the Library Website by clicking here.

What does it search?

LibSearch searches millions of items including:

  • Articles
  • Biographies
  • Books (print, ebooks and audiobooks), book chapters, book reviews
  • Company profiles
  • Encyclopedias
  • Films, videos, DVDs
  • Government documents and research datasets
  • Industry Reports
  • Magazines and newspapers (online and print)
  • Peer Reviewed (Scholarly) Journals
  • Primary sources

However, using subject specific databases will still be important for advanced research, and will be necessary in some cases. Please see our list of specialized databases that are not indexed in LibSearch.
