For onsite student's, Berkeley College I.D. is required to be registered for library services. Students' identification cards are issued by the Student Development and Campus Life offices on each campus.
Online students have to fill out an online library card application form to obtain a user name and password to place requests in the library catalog.
When registering a new user on-site, the librarian attaches a barcode (sticker) to the back of the ID, and enters information into the library system. The barcode is scanned when the student wants to borrow library materials.
