The library has several databases to use for research of a specific industry, but the two recommended most are IBISWorld, or  Plunkett Research. Access these databases using the A-Z Database list.

To find an industry report using Plunkett Research, click on the link "Research An Industry" and choose an industry from the menu window. Then click on the "Market Research and Trends" link and read through the industry report (use the 'next' or 'previous' buttons at the bottom of each page to switch to different sections of the report).

In IBISWorld, search for the reports by "industry, keyword, or company name" and select the appropriate industry. For more information about this industry, check the menu on the left side bar. You can also search for a specific information within this industry. In addition, you can also search iExpert Reports. Note that the Berkeley College library does not have access to US Risk Early Warning System (EWS).

A third database to use that also provides industry information is Business Insight: Global. Click the "Industries" link at the top, then choose from the list of industries provided.
