Most courses taught at Berkeley College use electronic textbooks, also known as eTexts or Digital Learning Sources.

To find your eTexts or Digital Learning Resources:

Log into Canvas, and open your course

Find and select eText in the white course navigation menu on the left side of the screen

The cover page of the eText should appear. You can then click on this book to access the eText (or Digital Learning Resources (DLRs))

The eTexts are online version of textbooks. They may include highlights, notes and links from your instructor to help you understand the material, or additional materials that can help you in the course, such as slideshows, lab manuals, videos or Study Ware that contain sample quizzes and tools for online practice of what you are studying.

If your eText is NOT available from this link on the sidebar of your Canvas course, then that class probably uses a separate resource for your textbook readings, learning activities and quizzes, such as MindTap or Cengage Brain or Evolve. Your instructor will provide a link to it and a code to log in for the first time, usually near your assignment for the week in Canvas.
