To Login to Engage/Canvas:

  1. Go to the web address
  2. Sign in one of two ways:
    • Click the silhouette of the person in the top right of the screen and select sign in.
    • Or you may use the Sign In tile
  3. Enter your username: firstname-lastname
    • Example:  john-doe
  4. Enter your password.
    If you never created a password before, use the default to get in the first time. Default password is: Bc#$MMSTID (CAPITAL B, lowercase c, pound sign, dollar sign, MM = two digit month of your birth, STID = last four numbers of your student ID)
    • Example: If you were born in March and the last four digits of your student ID are 5555, then your temporary password would be: Bc#$035555
  5. Click Sign In
  6. After successfully logging in, you can go to to update your security questions and create a memorable personal password.

On the Engage Portal you will be able to :

  • Access your courses through Canvas
  • Access your e-mail
  • Reach Student Support Services
  • Access e-forms
  • Access Student Self Service 
  • Chat with Helpdesk, Admission, Advisement and Library
