For tutoring help:

Through the Center for Academic Success (CAS) you can receive free one-on-one tutoring in many major subject areas. Some of the most popular subjects offered are math, writing for all subjects, computer skills, business, and accounting.

Making an appointment is the best way to secure the day, time, and tutor you prefer for your session, whether online (CASTAnywhere) or on campus.

Tutoring is available for course content as well as writing, study skills, or computer skills. Students have access to both peer and professional tutors, who are available during the day, evenings, and weekends. Tutoring sessions are 45 minutes and may either be one-on-one or in a small group. To see availability and make appointments follow these instructions:

  1. Log on to tutortrac.berkeleycollege.edu Links to an external site.
  2. Click on the Widget “Book an Appointment”
  3. Select the campus you would like to go to. For online tutoring, choose CAST Anywhere
  4. Select the course in the Section box. Select “Other Writing” if you want help with a paper.
  5. Click "Search" to find open appointments.
  6. A new pop-up window will appear with the appointment options.
  7. Book an appointment by clicking on a green time slot and clicking save on the pop-up screen. *Light Green blocks are times when you can visit without an appointment.

For writing and editing help:

For email assistance with developing, revising, or formatting a writing assignment, you can click on WriteAid at the bottom of the appointment form. Or you can also submit your draft directly to this WriteAid form to get feedback.

Make sure to include your name, course, and the assignment instructions, and use your Berkeley email address.
