Most of the library's E-book platforms have citation icons you can click to get an APA-formatted citation, but please check them to make sure they fit the newest APA Style reference guides.

These are the elements for formatting each book reference:

Author's last name, first & middle name initials. (Year of Copyright). Title [in italics] (Edition [if applicable]). Publisher. DOI or website URL for that book [if applicable]

Here's an example with multiple authors and a DOI from the APA Style website:

Kaufman, K. A., Glass, C. R., & Pineau, T. R. (2018). Mindful sport performance enhancement: Mental training for athletes and coaches. American Psychological Association. https://doi.org/10.1037/0000048-000

Here's one with an edition and URL:

Pence, G. E. (2020). Medical Ethics: Accounts of Ground-Breaking Cases (9th ed.). McGraw-Hill Higher Education. https://online.vitalsource.com/books/9781260807943

For more detailed information on citing books and book chapters in APA format, please look at this new APA Style handout, the 2nd & 3rd examples.
