For a basic description of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), start with Health Reference Center database. Typing in 'PTSD' is sufficient and the database will generate several relevant and concise articles on the topic.

For longer descriptions, you can use the Gale eBooks database, which has mental health and medical encyclopedias.

Once you become more familiar with the topic, use the databases Health & Medical Collection or Public Health Databasewhich provide access to articles from scholarly journals and magazines related to the topic.

Books on the topic can be found using the Berkeley College Online Catalog. Ebooks are also available on the topic via the Ebook Central database. In this case type in search box 'Post Traumatic Stress Disorder' as your keywords.  Once you find a relevant eBook and click the "Read Online" icon, you can search within the book for specific pages that reference your topic.
