Internship:

An internship provides a student with the opportunity to learn practical and relevant skills in a work environment directly related to the student's discipline.

When a student secures an internship on his/her own (without assistance from Career Services), the internship must be approved by the academic department chairperson.

Clinical Practicum:

Allied Health clinical internships/ practicums must meet program-specific guidelines, and in most instances are without pay.

All Allied Health students must complete an internship/clinical practicum in order to graduate from Berkeley College.
