To connect to the Berkeley College wireless system, select Berkeley WiFi from the list of available networks. You will be prompted for login and password information. Please use your Berkeley College login (that you use to login to campus computers or Engage or Canvas).

NOTE: Each time you change you password, you will need to update the login info on your device, often by disconnecting, then "Forgetting" the saved connection. Then when it finds Berkeley WiFi as an available WiFi, you can login with your new Berkeley password, and instruct it to connect automatically when you are on any Berkeley campus.

Android Phones: If you have a device using the Android operating system, you may need to change the settings after you click on Berkeley WiFi to login:

  1. EAP method - select/touch PEAP
  2. Phase 2 authentication - select/touch MSCHAPV2
  3. CA certificate - select/touch DO NOT VALIDATE (ignore the red message)
  4. Identity - your Berkeley username (like first-last)
  5. Anonymous identity - skip, leave it blank
  6. Password - your Berkeley password
  7. Touch Connect

Note: Some newer Android devices may ask for a domain name. Please use berkeley.ad.bes-net.net as the domain name

iPhones: If you have a device with iOS operating system, you will need to download and accept the certificate. Please keep in mind that you may need to upgrade your operating system to connect to the wi-fi.
