To cite content from IBIS World, you would follow the conventions of either MLA or APA style.  Be sure to check your assignment for citation style requirements. 

Since the reports generally have author names prominently displayed on the first page, you can reference the author’s name, report date, report title and database name in your citation.  If an author is not referenced, use the examples below as a guide. 

MLA STYLE:

MLA Style 7th Edition Format:

Last name, First name. “Report Number: Report Name”. IBISWorld. Month of report. Year of report.

              Web. Date accessed.

MLA Citation Page Example:

Alvarez, Andrew. "IBISWorld Industry Report 72111: Hotels & Motels in the US." IBISWorld. Aug.

MLA In-Text Example:

“No author given” Citation Page Example:

APA STYLE:

APA Style 6th Edition Format:

Last name, initials. (Year, Month). Report Name. Report Number. Retrieved from IBISWorld database.

APA Citation Page Example:

            from IBISWorld database.

APA In-Text Example:

(Alvarez, 2015)
