APA style requires the following elements when citing a website page that lists an author:

Author, A. A. (Date). Title. Site Name. URL

The author is listed by their full last name (surname or family name) first, then just initials for the first & middle names (the personal individual name). The date can be Year (####) or Year, Month (####, Month) or Year, Month day (####, Month ##). The title of the article is in italics. The website comes next. Then the webpage address goes at the end (full URL to that article).

1) Here's an example of a story by Jonathan Amos (author) on a news website (like BBC News, BET, Bloomberg, CNN, FoxNews, HuffPost, MSNBC, Reuters, Salon, or Vox:

Amos, J. (2020, February 5). World's biggest iceberg makes a run for it. BBC News. https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-51389690

If there is no individual author shown, there might be a group - such as an organization or association, government agency, or a company - that is responsible for the content on the site, which can be used as the "corporate author" in place of an individual author name.

Group name. (Date). Title. Site Name. (don't repeat if it matches the group name) URL

Or you can start with the title instead, in italics, followed by the date, website and URL.

Title. (Date). Site Name. URL

Here's an example of a webpage with no author starting with the title of that article:

All 33 Chile miners freed in flawless rescue. (2010, October 13). NBC News. https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna39625809

Here's an example of a webpage starting with a "group" as author:

American Cancer Society. (2019, July 29). Are some people more likely to get skin damage from the sun? https://www.cancer.org/healthy/be-safe-in-sun/sun-damage.html

If the date of publication is not listed, use the abbreviation (n.d.) where the date goes. Some online works post when the work was last updated, usually at the bottom of the article. If this date is clearly attributable to the specific content you are citing rather than the overall website, use the updated date in the reference instead of (n.d.).

Here's an example of a webpage with no date:

Berkeley College. (n.d.). M.B.A. Concentrations.
