You are required by Berkeley College to complete a minimum of 120 on-site hours for the internship if you are enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree non-Allied Health program. Students enrolled in the MIBC (Medical Insurance, Billing, and Coding) Associate’s degree program are required to complete a minimum of 135 on-site hours for internship.

Expect to be at your internship site for a minimum of 8 hours per week, but know that many employers will require or expect you to be present for more hours than this.

Discuss your current schedule and availability with your Career Counselor prior to interviewing for internship/clinical positions.

NOTE: Hours may vary due to Covid-19.  Please consult your Career Counselor and Internship Professor.
