An internship offers a student a valuable bridge between an area of study and the employment world. It provides a way of learning skills and acquiring the experience needed to be successful in the job market. An internship can also help a student clarify goals and, most importantly, helps build experience on the resume.

An Internship can lead to full-time employment and provide references for future employment.

NOTE: Allied Health students must complete their internship/clinical practicum in order to qualify to sit for certain examinations/certifications which are required in some programs for graduation, as well as for employment.
