The grade appeal form is available through Engage by clicking on the eForms/Documents tile.

When the new window that opens, click on the eForms tile.

From the list of forms, scroll down the Academic Advisement section to find the Grade Appeal form.

The Grade Appeal form includes instructions on the appeal procedure, what information to include, and the timing restrictions for appealing grades. There are three levels of an appeal, and all three can be completed on one form. First, students appeal their grades to the professor of the course. If unsatisfied with the response, a second appeal can be made to the Department Chair. If the student is still unsatisfied, a third and final appeal can be made to the School Dean

When you electronically submit the Grade Appeal form, an email will automatically be sent to the course professor, Department Chair, or School Dean, depending on the level of the appeal. When the professor, Chair, or Dean submits the form, an email will automatically be sent to the student to allow them to access the response for that level of the appeal.

More details about filing a grade appeal can be found under Forms on the Academic Advisement page
