The most common reasons that the Library links don't work are:

  1. You are using a version of Internet Explorer that does not show the dropdown menu from the gold Research / Explore bar on the Library page. Try to Right-click (use the mouse button on the right side) on Research / Explore then pick the option to Open in a New Tab or Window. Then go to that tab or window and click on Research / Explore again, then click on "Databases" and it will open. Or use Google Chrome as the browser when you go into Blackboard.
     
     
  2. You are not logged into Blackboard or your login has expired. Go to the Library page (tab) from inside Blackboard, especially if you are off campus. You may have to log out of Blackboard and sign back in again.  Otherwise it may not know that you are a Berkeley student who is allowed to use the databases.
